AN APOLOGY FOR BEING INACTIVE!

Hello GymButante readers, 

I am v excited of how quickly the blog has garnered significant attention for gymternet readers over the past couple of days. So, I want to thank you for that! 

The reason I am writing this post is because I am apologising for not posting throughout the weekend. I went on a short, get away vacation this past weekend and the WiFi connection was about as good as Yamilet's Produnova!!! Currently, I am in the car; on my way home! Eugh, it's so hard to write a blog post on an iPhone sigh! 

Anyways, I am to post as soon as possible and keep my new readers in the loop of all the going-ons in the gym world!

LAUREN LI TRANSFERS TO LSU, DISMISSED FROM PSU

Former WOGA alumnus and Penn State freshman last year, Lauren Li, was added to the 2016 roster on the LSU Lady Tigers website today; prompting speculation on why she left Big 10 team, Penn State Nittany Lions.

The 19-year old, who is a graduate of Plano East High School, was underfire earlier on this year when it was publicly released that she had apprehended shoplifting on two occasions - naughty! As a result, Li didn't travel to the Big-10 Championships or Regionals at the end of this past season. 

The former Plano resident was dismissed by the Penn State Athletic Department at 'their discretion', in an exit interview. Obviously, LSU have sinced picked her up and Li has changed her Instagram bio as 'LSU gymnast' and, in a recent photo posted on LSU Gymnastics' Instagram, she was photographed with the rest of the team. 

This is very ironic! Both Randi Lau and Sidney Sanabria-Robles started their careers at LSU and now they're at Penn State. However, Li started at Penn State and is now at LSU. Such fun!

VIDEO: BRITTANY ROGERS SLAYS AMANAR IN TRAINING

2012 Canadian Olympian and Georgia Gym Dogs team member, Brittany Rogers, has been very busy in the gym this summer. The 22-year old, who recently announced her aims to make the 2016 Canadian Olympic team, shows off her new Amanar vault in a recent Instagram video.

As well as the video, she wrote the location as 'oops i did it again'. Aw, like a little Britney Spears! In addition, the caption was 'landing this vault is almost as exciting as seeing my dogs 😋 #amanoway!'

JAKE DALTON REIGNS VICTORIOUS AS 'SEXIEST GYMNAST OF ALL TIME'

We have no complaints of Jake being #1

2012 Olympic Floor finalist and former Oklahoma Sooner gymnast, Jake Dalton, led a recent BuzzFeed post that listed the '44 Sexiest Male Gymnasts of All Time'. 

The list, which was published three days ago, featured some of the most attractive male gymnasts; many of whom were American. The risqué post didn't take long to circulate across the gymternet; met with mixed reactions! Most gym fans praised by the article but, for some, it provoked controversy. However, the most outrageous thing was that Russian gymnast, Alexei Nemov, wasn't added in the first edition! But, in a revised list, he placed third. Woo. 

The top ten looked like this;
